Kirkby Lonsdale Coach Hire is a family operated business that began in 1991 with one Mercedes mini-coach and has now grown into a company that has 22 buses and coaches and 40 staff. Because we are a family orientated business we maintain a family ethos in all our activities and always try and provide “that extra touch”.

Our Private Hire fleet now incorporates coaches that seat 16, 24, 35, 53 and 69 passengers. The larger coaches are the flagship vehicles of our fleet. We can cater for various groups and parties with different needs from smaller groups to mass events. The 69 seater coach is for school work only.

We also operate subsidised rural public bus services for Lancashire, Cumbria and North Yorkshire County Councils.

With much of our work being of a rural nature we are particularly proud of our experienced drivers who always try to give “that little bit extra” to meet the special needs of the rural community. Drivers were recently trained in First Aid and are working towards their Driver CPC Training awards.

Located as we are within one and a half to two hours of Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds Airports we have much experience in transporting parties to and from our local airports.
